Do you LOOK at the clutter in your home, TURN AND RUN AWAY, still feeling STRESSED AND GUILTY?

Do you REFUSE to invite guests to your home because you are ASHAMED of how it look, or do you feel like it isn’t as nice as someone else’s home?

If COMPANY is coming over, do you SWEEP THE CLUTTER from dressers, shelves, and counter tops off into boxes, hide them in a closet and NEVER GO BACK to them?

Do you put “ORGANIZE MY HOUSE” at the top of your TO DO LIST over and over again, sometimes year after year?

Do you shop for MORE STUFF because you CAN’T FIND what you need because it’s buried somewhere?

Do you have TROUBLE FINDING important papers and documents?

Do you have EVERY BOOK you ever bought bulging out of your bookcases, many still unread?

Are your CLOTHES CLOSETS still holding clothes that don’t fit, are out-of-style, or that you just never wear anymore?

Are your FREEZER, REFRIGERATOR, or KITCHEN CABINETS so crowded that you can’t find things easily?

Are RECYCLABLE ITEMS like paper and plastic bags, plastic jugs, newspapers, magazines, and cardboard boxes growing like mushrooms in dark corners, giving your home a messy, cluttered look?

Do you feel overwhelmed by your mail? Do you get catalogues and magazines you didn’t order and never read?

Do you often look at trinkets, vases, furniture, and souvenirs and wonder why you keep them?

Are old seminar notes, tax papers, letters, insurance papers, interesting articles and excess recipes you never use or read crammed into file boxes or drawers?

Let the “Mouse” work on your “Cheese,” and your life and your home will never be the same! Get a vision of how things can be. Set goals. Learn methods. Relieve your stress and guilt once and for all. Feel better about yourself and your home. Relax and invite friends over to visit or for a meal. WOW! Won’t that be great?

FIRST OF ALL, consider that your house didn’t get this way over night or in a few days, so it will take some time to set things right. But never fear! Think of yourself as a “mouse nibbling on a large block of cheese.” Whenever you feel discouraged or impatient with the process, look at how much “cheese” is gone, not at how much there is left to eat! (Anyway, you’d get clutter indigestion if you ate it too fast!”)
